The service

Appetit turns recipes you already have access to (links you paste, photos you take) into clean recipe cards for your personal use. You bring the recipes; Appetit organizes them.

Your content

• Recipes you import remain yours and stay private to your account. Appetit does not publish, share or redistribute them. When you share a recipe or a shopping list as a link, or add recipes to a household, the people you share with can see them.
• You are responsible for importing only content you may lawfully use for personal purposes.
• Appetit picks link to recipes published by other sites. Those recipes belong to their authors; importing one saves a copy for your personal use.
• A guest account (never signed in) that goes unused for 12 months is deleted with its recipes. Sign in to keep your recipes for good, and export them from Settings at any time.

Plans and billing

• The free tier includes a limited number of saved recipes and standard link imports.
• Paid plans (monthly, annual or one-time lifetime) unlock unlimited recipes and AI-powered features. All billing runs through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms; manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account settings.
• The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase for the life of the product, not the lifetime of any person.
• AI-powered features carry monthly fair-use limits so the service stays sustainable. These limits are enforced on our servers and may be adjusted to keep the app viable.

Availability and discontinuing the service

• Appetit is provided on an as available basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue the app, or any feature, at any time.
• "Lifetime" access means access for as long as we operate the product. It does not oblige us to run the app or its servers indefinitely, and it ends if the product is discontinued.
• If we decide to discontinue Appetit, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable and keep a window open for you to export your saved recipes. The app lets you export your recipes at any time, and your saved recipes are also kept on your device, so you can keep them if the service ends.
• Discontinuing the service, in whole or in part, is not a breach of these terms. Purchases, including lifetime, are non-refundable on discontinuation except where the Apple App Store, Google Play or applicable law require otherwise.

Acceptable use

No scraping at scale, no reselling access, no using the service to redistribute third-party content.

Warranty and liability

Appetit is provided as is, without warranties. Recipe parsing and translations can make mistakes; always use your own judgment while cooking, especially with food safety. Grocery costs are estimates from public store prices; your store's prices will differ and nothing is charged through them. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

Changes

These terms may change as the product evolves; material changes will be announced in the app.
